Photographer
My father was never without his camera and his faithful 35mm allowed him to capture images that represented his view of life, a view that I admire to this day.
He is my inspiration and my reason for pursuing photography, and all my work is in tribute to him and maintaining his legacy of preserving lasting memories.
As a freelance photographer I collaborate with clients for photoshoots and create and sell my own photographic work.
So why Bowery Photography?
The Bowery is a street and neighbourhood in Lower Manhattan in New York City. In the 1920s and 1930s, it was an impoverished area and from the 1940s through the 1970s, the Bowery was New York City's Skid Row.
Since the 1990s, the entire Lower East Side has been reviving, and gentrification has contributed to ongoing change along the Bowery.
To me, The Bowery still encapsulates the real "old New York" - scratch a little of its surface and you start revealing its hidden charm that will never disappear.
With every photo I take, I want to capture the depth and emotions that are evoked from subjects and their surroundings in that split second that lasts a lifetime.
I look forward to my clients involving me in their journey and I hope you enjoy mine!
